FCA Detailing started with something simple: a kid who always wanted something to work on and who loved seeing the difference a deep clean could make.
Fernando Carranza Abelino did not begin detailing with a business plan, a storefront or a long list of services. He simply liked having something to work on. Cleaning a vehicle gave him a process he could focus on, but what really stuck was the transformation — taking something dirty, neglected or worn-looking and seeing the before and after with his own eyes.
That interest gradually became a passion. Each vehicle became another chance to improve a process, learn how different materials and paint systems respond, and figure out how to get a better result than the last job. What began as something to stay busy with eventually turned into FCA Detailing in 2021.
Today, FCA Detailing handles everything from deep interior cleanups and muddy work trucks to paint correction, ceramic coatings, mobile detailing and commercial work. The business has grown, but the mindset has stayed the same: look at the vehicle for what it actually needs, be straightforward with the customer, and put the effort into the details that change the final result.
Fernando does not believe every vehicle needs the most expensive package. FCA quotes based on the vehicle's size, condition and the customer's goals, which makes it possible to recommend the right level of work instead of forcing every customer into a fixed package.
That approach also carries into repeat service. Maintenance plans are designed for customers who want to keep a vehicle looking good after the first major detail, while commercial services give local businesses an option for keeping fleet vehicles and business-facing assets looking professional.
For Fernando, FCA is still built around the same thing that started it: having something worth working on and being able to stand back at the end and see the difference.
